Welcome to Brain Dumpster
I try to write every day. We all hear that, always write, keep writing, write write write. It has the same energy of “you can’t win if you don’t play” that the state lottery pushes. There’s an incredible feeling, better than scratching a lottery ticket, when my pencil is on the paper and I’m scratching at the surface of an idea. I started physically journaling in 2020 and found a lot of power in regularly putting myself onto a page, even in an unorganized way.
This blog is a translation of those daily entries. They’re scattered, probably disconnected and non-sensical, and likely have earned a few edits from what I actually physically wrote in my notebook. My goal is to not let the ideas settle down between unturned pages and revisiting them, even just in transcription, will help something surface. I don’t expect this the be an easy read or have a through line that you can follow other than that I was here with intangible dreams that I forced into the bound tangible limits of a notebook then brought back into the ethereal internet to put here on Brain Dumpster.
